The Coffee Syndicate - Authentic Italian Coffee & Expert Service in Gatlinburg, TN

Absolutely amazing! The best coffee in town! Conveniently located in Elks plaza, so this new fun, traditional Italian coffee shop is easily accessible to everyone. The owner is amazingly friendly and very knowledgeable about the products in the store. Each customer, every staff member has taken time to explain products or ask any questions that may arise with customers. I was here for a 4 day stay, and came each and every morning. I was instantly recognized and greeted warmly. Service is quick, especially being a new establishment that I’m sure are working out kinks. Endless options to customize your coffee to your liking, and so much better than the big box stores. If you’re a coffee aficionado, or looking to find something for the first time, Coffee Syndicate is the place to go!

The Coffee Syndicate in Gatlinburg feels like it was pulled straight out of an Italian coffee dream—emerald counters, the hum of espresso machines, and enough dessert temptations to derail any “just coffee” plans. I ordered a cappuccino, and it was genuinely good—smooth, rich, and beautifully foamy. You can tell they care about quality here. That said, the wait was on the long side, and seating is… well, let’s just say it’s more of a “sip-and-stroll” kind of place than a cozy café hangout. If you’re patient (and not planning to camp out with your laptop), it’s absolutely worth a stop for a great cup and a bit of old-school café charm tucked right in the middle of Gatlinburg’s bustle.

Everything was great, we just happened to stumble upon this beautiful place and it was a wonderful experience. My partner and I got two drinks. I loved my lavender coffee (Bella Viola) it’s a little sweet for me but the coffee itself is pretty good

Me and my Fiancée stopped and got ourselves our morning coffees here during our last day in Tennessee. The service was quick and the coffee was amazing! The menu offers a lot of uniquely named and delicious coffees, and they even have some pretty well made desserts and treats fit for breakfast. The only issue is a lack of interior seating, with the only available seating being those outside.

There was a small group of us to go in and get our morning coffee. The shop is adorable, moderate wait times. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about the coffee they serve- and it shows! I got a simple cortado and it’s easily the best one I’ve ever had- rich, smooth espresso. Worth the price you pay. 10/10 recommend.

Coffee is absolutely amazing here. This was our go-to place during our entire time in Gatlinburg. I tried many different coffees (espresso con panna, macchiato, etc), while my husband stuck to his Americano. Prices are in line with gourmet coffee shops. My only complaint is that I wish it was open sooner than 9 AM.

What a cute coffee shop nestled inside a corner of gatlinburg . There aren’t many coffee shops around here and this one doesn’t open up til 9! We waited to get some coffee before we started our hike and thank goodness we did because the coffee was excellent ! We ordered a flat white and a rice crispy treat ! All their pastries looked really delicious ! If you’re here in the area do stop by ! Friendly staff and delicious coffee and treats.
